Owner/Supervisor only. Net sales per location for the selected period, with the change vs. the same-length period right before it.

Register

Sales queue locally first — this screen works with no connection.

Kitchen

Live order tickets — updates the moment a sale completes at any register.

Website

Activity from your public storefront at your site.

Showing every pending request across all days, soonest first — the day picker only applies to Confirmed/All.

Customers

Loyalty points earn automatically on sales attached to a customer — configure the rate in Settings.

Inventory

Stock never blocks a sale — it flags for review instead. Stocking a location is optional per item — check only the locations that actually carry it.

Item image preview

Photo is optional — auto-cropped to a square thumbnail for the Register grid.

Adjust stock at a location

Sets (not adds) the stock count for one item at one location. Leaving a location unchecked above just means this item isn't sold/tracked there at all.

Purchase orders

Create an order, then mark it received once the stock actually arrives — receiving is what updates stock counts and item cost, not creating the order.

Expenses

Log the cost of running the business — supplies, delivery fees, repairs — so "Est. profit" above is an actual net figure.

Employees

Only Owner or Supervisor can add staff. Sensitive actions require the supervisor PIN.

Clock in / out

Give the temporary password to the employee directly — have them change it after first sign-in.

Time log

Visible to Owner and Supervisor only. Hours × hourly wage gives an estimated labor cost — set a wage per employee above to see it.

Payroll

Owner/Supervisor only. Runs off clocked hours × each employee's hourly wage above — pick a pay period to see who's owed what, then run it to lock the numbers in and print payslips. Only clocked-out hours that haven't already been paid are included.

Uses the official NIBTT 16-class contribution table (effective 5 Jan 2026) and BIR's published PAYE/Health Surcharge rules. This is a strong estimate built into your POS, not a certified tax filing product — it doesn't handle TD1 elections, extra approved deductions, or the under-16/60+/pension-only NIS exemptions (mark an individual employee "Exempt" in the table above for those cases instead). NIS is legislated to rise again in January 2027 — this'll need an update then. For the most accurate NIS/Health Surcharge figures, run payroll on a weekly or biweekly cadence aligned to calendar weeks. Always verify against NIBTT/BIR before remitting.

License

Registered devices

Visible to Owner and Supervisor only. Every register needs its own serial key — this is every key activated on this business and which system it's tied to. Use "Release" only when retiring or replacing a device; the key can then be re-entered on its replacement via "Add this device" on the activation screen.

Buy more device keys

Every register needs its own key. Buy one here, then on the new device go to the activation screen, tap "Add this device", and enter the key.

Business name

Receipt logo

Printed at the top of every receipt in place of the plain "868POS" text. Keep it simple — receipts print narrow (58–80mm thermal paper), so a wide or busy logo will shrink down a lot. A PNG with a transparent background works best.

Inventory translations

Item names, categories, and descriptions are automatically translated into every supported language whenever an item is added or edited, so staff and customers each see them in their own language. Items that existed before this feature won't have translations yet — run this once to backfill them all now.

Loyalty program

Receipt paper width

Matches whatever thermal receipt printer you're using — check the paper roll or printer spec if unsure. Works with any brand; this just tells the browser how wide to print.

Receipt language

Keeps printed and emailed receipts in a fixed language no matter what language the app itself is switched to — handy when staff work in one language on screen but customers expect another on paper.

Second language

Works for USB-connected printers only. A browser can't install drivers for you (no website can, for security reasons) — this identifies the brand and links you straight to their official driver page instead of guessing.

Kitchen display / tickets

Send completed orders to a kitchen or dispensary — as a live screen, an auto-printed ticket, or both. Each device that should act as a kitchen station just needs the app open on this business's Kitchen tab (and its own printer set as the OS default, if using auto-print there).

Stations (optional)

Leave empty for one single kitchen/dispensary ticket. Add stations to split orders by item category — e.g. food to a Kitchen screen, drinks to a Bar screen. Anything in a category not assigned to a station lands on a "General" ticket automatically.

Local network direct connection (experimental)

Normally, if the internet drops, this device keeps working on its own but can't hand a new order to a different device (like the Kitchen screen) until the internet is back — everything syncs through the cloud. Turning this on has devices on the same WiFi quietly open a direct connection to each other while online, so if the internet then drops, kitchen tickets can still reach an already-connected screen straight over the local network. It only covers devices already connected when the outage starts — one that was off or just opened can't make a first connection without the internet. Off by default; safe to leave off if you'd rather just wait for orders to sync normally.

Dine-in tables

Set up a fixed table list per location — the Register's Dine-in mode shows these as a tappable grid. A table's tab stays open (orders, tips, and a running total) until it's charged out at the end, and survives a page reload just like a held order does.

Register lock & screensaver

An idle screensaver is cosmetic only — it dismisses on any tap. The register lock is a real security gate: once locked, only the employee who locked it, or an Owner/Supervisor, can unlock it. Anyone else trying is recorded in the Audit Log below.

Draw the unlock pattern (Owner/Supervisor only):

Open days

How many pending/confirmed bookings can share the same time slot before your site shows it as full. Use 1 for a single-appointment calendar, or however many tables/covers a reservation slot can hold.

An IANA time zone name for this location (e.g. America/Port_of_Spain, America/New_York). Without this, "today" and open days on your site are computed from each shopper's own device clock, which can be a day off from yours around midnight.

Credentials are sent straight to a secure server function and stored where the browser can never read them back — only a masked version is shown here. Enabled providers become available as Card payment options at checkout.

🔒 Payment settings are locked. Re-enter your account password to view or edit them.

Digital receipts

Email a receipt instead of (or as well as) printing one — sidesteps printer/driver issues entirely. Uses Resend — free to start, one API key.

Support

Technical issues, billing questions, anything — goes straight to the 868POS team.

My tickets

Discount & override PIN

There's no separate PIN to set — a cashier applying a discount, or an Owner/Supervisor voiding a sale, refunding, or removing an employee, is asked for any Owner or Supervisor's own quick PIN (set below). That's what actually verifies who approved it in the Audit Log, instead of one shared code anyone could use.

My quick PIN

A 4-digit PIN so you can be tagged as the operator on a shared register without a full sign-out/sign-in. This only changes who sales are attributed to — it never changes what you're allowed to do.
